Treasurer-Tax Collector

If you were unable to pay property taxes due to circumstances beyond your control and related to the COVID-19 Pandemic, you may qualify for penalty cancellation. Click here for COVID-19 Penalty Cancellation Form
The Department is closed to the public from Friday, Nov. 13 through Friday, Nov. 20 for an office remodel.
During this time, tax payments are accepted online, via the mail and at payment bins located at both entrances to the building. Staff is available to answer your questions by phone and e-mail: 530-621-5800 and taxcollector@edcgov.us. Our offices reopen on Nov. 23.
In compliance with the Stay-at-Home Order, the Treasurer-Tax Collector Department public counter is closed until further notice.
Cash payments may be made by appointment by calling 530-621-5800 or emailing taxcollector@edcgov.us. Online payments may be made through this web page. Staff is available to assist by phone or e-mail.

​SECOND INSTALLMENT ONLINE PAYMENTS USING THE TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR'S WEBSITE ARE CONSIDERED TIMELY ON APRIL 12th UNTIL 11:59 p.m.

​The Property Tax System is under construction (online & in person) beginning Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 4 pm until March 17, 2022 at 8:00 am.

Announcing a new addition to this year’s tax bills: QR Codes, uniquely created for each Parcel Number. Snap a picture to go directly to the payment cart for your unique parcel number for each tax installment.


The online Property Tax payment portal will be offline for a system update a few hours beginning at 4:30pm on Wednesday, February 8. During that time, online Property Tax payments cannot be processed. Please check back later. We apologize for the inconvenience.
