What is a Design Review Committee?A committee that reviews applications in order to provide for the protection, enhancement and use of places, sites, buildings and structures having special character, aesthetic interest and value; and to provide for the enhancement of tourism and the economy of the County by protecting and preserving places having special and unique character and interests.
Term Limits: Four-year term; appointed by Board of Supervisors.
Membership: At least three members shall be residents and owners of property in the area served by the Committee. Two members may be business owners of property within the area and not residents. Members serve without compensation.
Meetings: Meetings may be held on the call of the Chair of the Committee or any two members.
