Two Free Employer Presentations in November 2017
(Placerville, CA) - El Dorado County Connections - One Stop is hosting two free employer presentations in November 2017 for people interested in obtaining a federal job. During the events, representatives from featured federal agencies will share information about their current job openings and how to apply for a federal job. The events are open to anyone in El Dorado County looking for a job and will include an opportunity to speak directly with recruiters. Individuals may attend one or both of the events. Attendees should bring their resumes and dress professionally. Seating is limited. Pre-registration is highly suggested, though not required. The employer presentations will be held as follows:
- Wednesday, November 8, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the County Child Support Services office, located at 3883 Ponderosa Road in Shingle Springs, CA. Representatives from the U.S. Forest Service will share information about multiple temporary positions with their agency for the 2018 field season. - Thursday, November 9, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the County Child Support Services office, located at 3883 Ponderosa Road in Shingle Springs, CA. During the event, representatives from the U.S. Department of Transportation will share information about how to apply for Federal jobs, with a focus on job opportunities within the Transportation Department.
