take time for yourself” is advice we all get from well-meaning friends and
family for those of us living with the demands of caring for a loved one. But
how do we “take time” and find respite when it feels there is no time and we
are unable to get away? This presentation will explore various resources for
finding solace and respite.
- January 24, 2017 – Effective Communication: Join us to explore how
communication takes place when someone has Alzheimer’s disease. Learn to decode
the verbal and behavioral messages delivered by someone with dementia, and
strategies to help connect and communicate at each stage of the disease.

Healthy, Be Well: Minimize Poor Health and Hospitalization Risk: The
medical care delivery system is changing the way it provides care. Learn
how to optimize your health and wellness by making healthy lifestyle choices
and minimizing side effects of prescription medications. Increase your
