Job Search Workshop for Veterans

in Placerville on September 27, 2018


(Placerville, CA) - El Dorado County Connections - One Stop is partnering with the California Employment Development Department (EDD) to host a Job Search Workshop for Veterans. The free workshop will be held on September 27, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Connections - One Stop, 3047 Briw Road in Placerville.  

The following topics will be addressed during the workshop:

  • Navigating the labor market websites
  • Obtaining training information
  • Sharpening your resume
  • How to enroll in the EDD's Veterans' Intensive Program 

This workshop is offered as a community service through Connections - One Stop, a program of the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency, and a member of America's Job Center of California.  Connections - One Stop helps residents with job searches, job skills trainings and workshops, resume development, work experience and more.
