Advisor Information

Program Data Collection Requirements for Advisors


Per the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the County of El Dorado Alcohol and Drug Programs and individual school sites facilitating the Friday Night Live program, the following student participant data is required to be collected by the site advisor.

Participant Demographic Information:

  • Gender
  • Age
  • Ethnicity
  • Race

Activity Data:

  • Date
  • Type (club meeting, event, presentation, etc.)
  • Duration
  • Brief description 
  • Number of students that participated

Per the MOU, this data is to be submitted to El Dorado County Alcohol and Drug Programs staff by the 10th of the month for the previous month’s data. Data is to be submitted by email to the following staff:

Data may be submitted via email in the form of a spreadsheet, word document, and/or scanned activity agenda and sign in sheets. 

Operating Principles: FNL and CL programs will:

  • Be youth driven and led
  • Help young people develop skills and resilient traits (e.g., foster a sense of power, and autonomy)
  • Build community partnerships to support youth
  • Provide meaningful and caring relationships among youth and with adults
  • Promote belief in youths’ capacity to contribute
  • Provide safe, healthy, fun, and supportive places for youth to be
  • Be culturally competent
  • Have clearly defined and measurable goals, based on research and objective data
  • Support and train adults to work effectively with youth
  • Evaluate program periodically to assess progress and refine, improve, and strengthen the program’s effectiveness
