US 50 /Cameron Park Drive Interchange Alternatives Analysis Study
The US 50 / Cameron Park Drive interchange is projected to require capacity improvements by 2035 in order to meet Level of Service (LOS) General Plan policies. The Board has directed and prioritized the analysis of the Cameron Park Drive Interchange in order to develop an alternative, or alternatives, that meet LOS and operational requirements at a lower cost and reduced impacts than the alternatives contained in the previous analysis (2008 Project Study Report – Project Development Support). The alternative study will focus on the interchange area extending along the US 50 mainline on either side of the Cameron Park Drive undercrossing, and along Cameron Park Drive from just north of Palmer Drive to just south of Robin Lane.
The County cannot adequately address all issues without input from those who are directly affected on a daily basis. Therefore, the public is encouraged to remain engaged throughout the process.
All materials and documents used during the public outreach as well as new information and announcements as they become available are provided through the links below.
