El Dorado County to Perform Paving Work El Dorado Hills Boulevard at U.S. 50 October 22, 2013 – November 1, 2013
October 22, 2013 The Transportation Division of El Dorado County’s Community Development Agency will implement full closures of both directions of El Dorado Hills Boulevard at U.S. 50, as well as closures of the westbound on-ramp from El Dorado Hills Boulevard to U.S. 50, the westbound off-ramp from U.S. 50 to El Dorado Hills Boulevard and the eastbound loop off-ramp from U.S. 50 to El Dorado Hills Boulevard. All of these closures will occur at intermittent times between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the nights of October 22, 2013 – November 1, 2013. The closures are necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while the County’s contractor reconstructs and repaves El Dorado Hills Boulevard near U.S. 50 at night. During the closures, motorists will be provided signed detours that will allow for access to both directions of U.S. 50 and both directions of El Dorado Hills Boulevard and Latrobe Road. Motorists are encouraged to take other alternate routes around the area which also bypass the closure. Up to 13 portable changeable message signs will be placed around the work zone to keep motorists updated on any changes to the timing of the closures. The County sincerely appreciates the cooperation and patience of motorists that use these roadway facilities. Questions regarding these temporary closures may be directed to the Aradhana Kochar, the County’s resident engineer for this project, at (916) 599-5673.
