The El Dorado County Department of Veteran Services was established by the Board of Supervisors of El Dorado County to assist veterans, their dependents, and survivors in obtaining entitlements from federal, state, and local agencies administering veterans programs. It is not affiliated with the Federal Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).
Notice of Building Closure, May 16th and 17thThe Veterans Memorial Building will be closed on Monday, May 16 and Tuesday, May 17 due to construction activities near the building. Veteran Services staff will be available by phone during the building closures, and accessible to answer questions and reschedule appointments. Normal Tuesday “drop in” service at the Veterans Building will not be available, however, staff will be returning calls.
