Developing a Continuity of Operations or Business Continuity Plan
Continuity of Operations Plans or COOP assists organizations in identifying essential functions of their business that need to continue in the event of a catastrophic event. The plan also identifies the individuals needed to maintain these functions, and the alternate sites to conduct business operations. One example might be that your primary office location has been flooded or has burned down.
