As the fall season approaches, the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is encouraging residents to join the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) “Don’t be a Zombie. Be Prepared” campaign by doing three simple things – get a kit, make a plan, and be informed. According to Kristine Oase-Guth, Health Education Coordinator with the HHSA Public Health Preparedness section, “If your family and neighbors are prepared for a zombie invasion, then you’re ready for any emergency whether it’s fire, extreme weather or a pandemic.”
