El Dorado County Public Defender Announces Second Clean Slate Clinic to be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016

If you were convicted of misdemeanors or felonies in El Dorado County over one year ago that resulted in jail time, alternative sentencing, or probation, you may be eligible to “clean up” your criminal record. At this clinic, you will receive information on whether you are eligible to petition the Court for a dismissal of certain convictions in California. If you were convicted in El Dorado County and successfully completed all the terms of your sentence, you will receive instructions on how to “clean up” your record.

For more information on eligibility, please check the Public Defender's website http://www.edcgov.us/Public-Defender or pick up our Clean Slate Clinic Brochure at all courthouse locations, or at our office at 630 Main Street, Placerville, CA.  You can also call the Public Defender's Office at (530) 621-6440 between 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the following dates:

March 7th and March 28th

An attorney will be staffed during those dates and times to answer questions.
