What is a Design Review Committee?A committee that reviews applications in order to provide for the protection, enhancement and use of places, sites, buildings and structures having special character, aesthetic interest and value; and to provide for the enhancement of tourism and the economy of the County by protecting and preserving places having special and unique character and interests.
Term Limits: Four-year term; appointed by Board of Supervisors.
Membership: At least three members shall be residents and owners of property in the area served bv the Committee. Two members may be business owners of property within the area and not residents. Members serve without compensation.
Meetings: Cameron Park Design Review Committee meetings are held approximately every fourth Monday at 6:30 p.m. Discretionary projects required to be reviewed are required to schedule the review date with the El Dorado County Planning department. Additional meetings may be called at the discretion of the Chairperson or any two committee members.
