Museum Volunteers

The El Dorado County Historical Museum Depends On Volunteers!

Three main areas of volunteer service are:

• Research Room

• Museum Docent

• El Dorado Western Railroad

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a volunteer please complete a Volunteer Interest Form. If you have skills that you think might be useful please contact the museum.

Our volunteers are invaluable to the success of the El Dorado County Museum and the El Dorado Western Railroad!

If you can help with the El Dorado Western Railroad operation, maintenance or track work, please stop by while the volunteers are operating on a Sunday to let them know of your interest. Go to the El Dorado Western Railroad Schedule to see where they are operating.
