MHSA Housing

The MHSA Housing program offers supportive housing options for eligible clients of the Behavioral Health Division. All apartments are currently full, however you may submit an application to be placed on the waiting list.

West Slope - Trailside Terrace Apartments, Shingle Springs

MHSA housing funds were approved to help develop Trailside Terrace apartments (formerly Sunset Lane Apartments), a 40-unit affordable housing community in Shingle Springs. Five units are dedicated to the El Dorado County MHSA housing program for homeless or those at risk of homelessness and eligible for services under the MHSA Full Service Partnership (FSP) Program.

Located on Sunset Lane near Mother Lode Drive and Highway 50, this is the first permanent MHSA supportive housing program in El Dorado County. Supportive services help promote housing stability and support resident recovery. Trailside Terrace is an affordable housing development. There are limits on maximum income levels by household size. Lake Tahoe - The Aspens at South Lake, South Lake Tahoe

MHSA housing funds were approved to help develop the Aspens, a 48-unit affordable housing community in South Lake Tahoe. Six units are dedicated to the El Dorado County MHSA housing program for households that are homeless or at risk of homelessness and eligible for services under the MHSA Full Service Partnership (FSP) Program.

Located on Pioneer Trail, this is the second permanent supportive housing program in El Dorado County. Supportive services are designed to promote housing stability and support the resident’s recovery. To reach the Aspens at South Lake Tahoe, call (530) 541-1800.
