 The El Dorado County Health Services Department, Mental Health Division is inviting the public to review and provide comment on the Prevention and Early Intervention Component of its Mental Health Services (MHSA) Act Plan. The goal of the three-year prevention plan is to help identify and help youth, older adults and others who are at risk for mental health problems and to prevent suicide. The prevention plan, which is available for review at Mental Health’s website - - will be posted for public review and comment through October 21.

A public hearing to receive input on the plan is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21 at 5:00 p.m. The hearing will be conducted simultaneously at two locations:
