Direct Services 

AIDS / HIV Education & Prevention Program
This program serves at-risk people, such as those who are incarcerated, sexually active adults and youth, substance users and youth outside mainstream education. Activities include education, outreach, and confidential testing and counseling. For further information, call (530) 621-6109.

Alcohol & Drug Prevention Program
This program provides education and trainings, awareness campaigns and efforts to reduce the sale and advertising of alcohol to minors. For further information, call (530) 573-7959.

Court Programs
El Dorado County Alcohol and Drug Programs works with other agencies to offer court programs. The Court programs include: Behavioral Health Court, Juvenile Drug Court, Teen Court, Dependency Drug Court, Prop 36/PC1210 Drug Court, Veterans and DUI Treatment Courts. All of these programs strive toward the best practices put forth by the National Association of Drug Court Professionals. Friday Night Live/Club Live
This program supports youth to be free of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs through education and asset building. Staff assist high schools and middle schools establish Friday Night Life/Club Live on campus. For further information, call (530) 621-6326.

Teen Court
Teen Court is a diversion program of the juvenile court, where juvenile offenders are judged and sentenced by their peers. The program is a collaborative effort of the El Dorado County Alcohol and Drug Programs, the Probation Department, District Attorney, Sheriffs Office and Superior Court. Students recruited from middle schools and high schools in El Dorado County serve as jurors, prosecutors, defense attorneys, bailiffs and court clerks. Adult attorneys mentor youth attorneys and a Superior Court Judge presides over hearings. Sentences include supportive and punitive measures. Youth living in El Dorado County who attend public or private school, or who are homeschooled, may participate in Teen Court.

Contracted Services 

El Dorado County Alcohol and Drug Programs contracts with community agencies to provide alcohol and drug treatment services. Pregnant women receive admission preference to any substance use treatment.
