Caregiver Education, Support Groups and Training

FCSP offers caregiver education, trainings and support groups to help caregivers remain healthy, both physically and mentally. FCSP also provides referrals to trained and/or licensed professionals to assist caregivers solve problems and get emotional support.

Free Aging and Caregiver Mini Series Coming to Placerville in January 2019
The El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency, Family Caregiver Support Program is pleased to present a free "Aging & Caregiver" Mini Series in Placerville. The educational, three-part series will be held on Tuesdays, January 15, 22 and 29, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Placerville Senior Center (Dining Room) located at 937 Spring Street in Placerville. The series will provide instruction and support for people who care for or plan to care for a family member or friend aged 60 years or older.  See press release.

 

Living with Alzheimer's: For Middle Stage Care Partners
The El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency, Family Caregiver Support Program is pleased to present a free "Aging & Caregiver" Mini Series in Cameron Park. The educational, three-part series will be held on Wednesdays, February 13, 20 and 27, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Cameron Park Community Services District located at 2502 County Club Drive, Cameron Park.
