Alzheimer’s: Know the Ten Signs

The El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency sponsors FREE community education each month on a variety of topics affecting older adults.

Alzheimer’s: “Know the Ten Signs” will be the featured presentation in March.  This session will provide professional knowledge related to Alzheimer’s disease, the most common form of dementia among older people.  Dementia is a brain disorder that seriously affects a person’s ability to carry out daily activities.  Memory loss that disrupts daily life is not a typical part of aging and may be a symptom of Alzheimer’s.  Learn the warning signs, what to do if you notice the signs and why early detection is important.

Join the discussion on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at the Placerville Senior Center located at 937 Spring Street in Placerville.
