delivering them to designated locations in the County, including shopping
centers and other places of interest. Volunteers are currently needed for
routes throughout the County, but are especially needed in Cameron Park, Georgetown,
Pollock Pines and Placerville.
a perfect volunteer opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, driving
to new places and giving back to the community,” said McGillivray. Volunteers
use the County’s Senior Shuttle van, not their own vehicle. Volunteers are
required to have a current California driver’s license and copy of their DMV
driving record, and pass a background check.
