CalWORKs WELFARE-TO-WORK
Welfare-to-Work is the employment and training component of the CalWORKs program. It helps people on cash assistance get jobs and become self-sufficient. Through ongoing case management, people are assisted to reduce barriers to employment. - Case management
- Assessment of skills and education
- Job readiness workshops
- Assisted job search
- Work experience placement
- Educational activities
- Supportive services
