GENERAL TIMELINE OF THE 2021 REDISTRICTING PROCESS

February 2021 – El Dorado Countyplanning for process, community engagement, and schedules.

May 2021–January 2022 – Community education and outreach.

April–December 2021 – County holds puiblinc Outreach meetings.

September 30th, 2021 – The U. S. Census Bureau is scheduled to deliver redistricting data to local jurisdictions. See announcement from Census

October 24th, 2021 – Mapping software released to the public with draft bounderies from the Census data.

November 7th, 2021 – Maps due to the BoS from the public.

November/December 2021 – BoS to adopt maps.
