“Shall a special tax measure be levied annually until ended by voters, for the purpose of funding the purchasing, maintaining, replacing or leasing of fire engines, vehicles, equipment and supplies, at an annual special tax rate of $52 per parcel per year with an estimated total annual revenue of $432,900, in order to continue providing adequate fire protection, suppression, emergency medical services, and requiring independent citizen oversight, be adopted?”
The Elections Department sent voters a notification card if they were registered as No Party Preference allowing them to request a crossover ballot for the March 3rd Primary Election. The parties that allow No Party Preference voters to receive a crossover ballot are the American Independent Party, Democratic Party and the Libertarian Party. If a No Party Preference voter wants to receive a party ballot that is different from these three they will need to reregister with that particular party.
