District Attorney Vern Pierson is pleased to announce that today Investigative Assistant Craig Hellberg was awarded the El Dorado Hills Rotary Club 2016 Officer of the Year Award.
Craig Hellberg has been with the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office for 10 years. His relentless and invaluable work behind the scenes has helped El Dorado County Deputy District Attorneys obtain convictions in hundreds if not thousands of cases, including murders, sexual assaults, domestic violence,
vehicular manslaughters, home and vehicle burglaries, illegal firearms possession, and drug cases.
District Attorney Vern Pierson commented, “We are extremely fortunate to have Craig in our office. His tireless efforts assisting in the investigations and prosecutions of criminals are truly the backbone of our office.”
