On 1/30/16, 40 year old Dennis Wright was shot to death in
the parking lot of the Beverly Lodge in South Lake Tahoe during a drug deal-turned
robbery/murder. The South Lake Tahoe Police Department has been joined by
investigators from the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department, the El Dorado
County DA’s Office, and SLEDNET while investigating this case in several jurisdictions.
This morning, with the help of the United States Marshall’s Service, the
Houston and Humble Texas Police Departments and the Harrison County Texas
Sheriff’s Office, investigators from SLTPD and the El Dorado County DA’s Office
located and arrested 22 year old Domenic Seanlee Randolph, in Harrison County,
Texas. He has been charged with murder
and booked into the Harrison County Jail in Houston.
Prior to this morning’s arrest of Domenic Randolph, investigators
had already found and arrested these suspects:
- Tristan Demond Batten, (charged with murder)
- Harvest
Cyle Davidson, (charged with murder)
The
investigation remains active and progresses on a daily basis. We anticipate the arrest of additional
outstanding suspects related to this case.
Therefore the public release of other information, in terms of the
specific roles and actions these arrestees took in the case, would jeopardize
the furtherance of our investigation. We
request our public’s patience in this.
Nevertheless we want our public to know that more arrests are being
made, and that this case continues to take our investigators to a number of
distant locations. The murder weapon in
this case has not yet been recovered. Therefore,
outstanding suspects in this case are considered armed and dangerous.
Dion Jermaine Randolph Vaccoro, 26 years old, 6’-0”/200lbs
from Vallejo, CA. remains an outstanding murder suspect in this case. Investigators are identifying not only the
individuals involved in the homicide, but those who are assisting and harboring
them. We are intentionally withholding additional information at this time in
order to preserve the integrity of this ongoing investigation.
