Saturation Patrols:
Thursday, July 3rd: DUI Roving Saturation Patrols will be assigned by law enforcement agencies within the cities of Placerville, South Lake Tahoe, and the unincorporated areas of El Dorado County. Friday July 4th: DUI Roving Saturation Patrols will be assigned by law enforcement agencies within the cities of Placerville, South Lake Tahoe, and the unincorporated areas of El Dorado County. Saturday July 5th: DUI Roving Saturation Patrols will be assigned by law enforcement agencies within the cities of Placerville, South Lake Tahoe, and the unincorporated areas of El Dorado County.
Sunday July 6th: DUI Roving Saturation Patrols will be assigned by law enforcement agencies within the cities of Placerville, South Lake Tahoe, and the unincorporated areas of El Dorado County.
Sheriff’s deputies will staff extra DUI units in the County supporting law enforcement efforts.
***All county law enforcement agencies plan heavy staffing levels for Independence Day festivities on Friday day the 4th.
California Highway Patrol Maximum Enforcement Period: CHP will assign all available officers to the region’s freeways and unincorporated roads beginning 6 PM Thursday through midnight Sunday.
