District Attorney Vern Pierson announced today that a Criminal Complaint has been filed charging twenty-eight felony counts stemming from the 1991 forcible abduction, rape, sexual assault, and false imprisonment of a then 11 year old South Lake Tahoe girl. The maximum penalty under the Complaint is multiple life terms for both defendants. Arraignment is scheduled for today at 1:00 p.m. in Department 7 of the El Dorado County Superior Court located at 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville, California.
