Updated Draft Green Valley Road Corridor Study Meeting Scheduled Natalie Porter (530) 621-5442 2014-09-12 Community Development Agency

(Placerville, Calif.)—The El Dorado County Community Development Agency, Long Range Planning Division is inviting the public to a meeting to discuss the findings of the DRAFT Green Valley Road Corridor Study completed by Kittelson & Associates, Inc. The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Middle School located at 2540 Green Valley Road in the Rescue area.

Responding to community concerns, the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors launched a study to review current safety and traffic conditions and provide proposed improvements along Green Valley Road and its intersections from the El Dorado County line to Lotus Road.

“Community input is important to the success of appropriately capturing the existing traffic concerns on Green Valley Road so that the County can analyze it and provide solutions,” said David Defanti, Assistant Community Development Agency Director.

The Draft Study for the Green Valley Corridor analysis that will be discussed at the public meeting is available at: www.edcgov.us, under News and Hot Topics and on the Long Range Planning website.

If you are unable to attend the public meeting on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, you will still be able to submit your written comments until Friday, September 19, 2014.
