Supervisor Hidahl Announces Town Hall Meeting in El Dorado Hills

(PLACERVILLE, CA) - Supervisor John Hidahl will hold a Town Hall
meeting in El Dorado Hills to provide an update on the Capital Southeast
Connector (Elk Grove to El Dorado Hills Expressway) on Monday, May 1st
from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm at the El Dorado Hills Community Service District, Norm Rowett
Pavillion, 1021 Harvard Way, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762
“This is a great
opportunity for the community to learn and ask questions about the Southeast
Connector Joint Powers Authority and the current plans for construction from
the primary agencies involved,” Said Hidahl.
The panel of three representatives providing information
includes Tom Zlotkowski (JPA Executive Director), Sharon Scherzinger (recently retired
executive director of the El Dorado County Transportation Commission) and
Claudia Wade (El Dorado County Long Range Planning Senior Civil Engineer). The Town Hall will be moderated by Supervisor
Hidahl.
“It’s important that the residents of El Dorado Hills and the
County be aware of significant changes to the time-phasing of this six- year-old
project. This is an opportunity for them to become informed and have questions
