Mosquito Bridge Closure Don Spear (530) 642-4908 2013-06-27 DOT The El Dorado County Transportation Division has scheduled its annual day time closure of the Mosquito Bridge over the South Fork of the American River for required maintenance activities. The Bridge will be closed between the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM from Monday, July 8, 2013 through Thursday, July 25, 2013. The Bridge will be open all day and all night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during this time.
