El Dorado County Road Closure Notice Blair Road at EID Canal Bridge Replacement Project

The Transportation Division of El Dorado County’s Community Development Agency will
close Blair Road in Pollock Pines between Loyal Lane and Badger Hill Road beginning on
Monday, October 24, 2016. The closure will remain in place for approximately 4 weeks,
24 hours per day, with the reopening planned for Friday, November 18, 2016.
This closure is necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while the County’s
contractor replaces the Blair Road Bridge over the El Dorado Irrigation District canal with
culverts. A detour around the road closure utilizing Pony Express Trail and Forebay Road
will be clearly posted and in effect for the duration of the closure. Motorists are
encouraged to be alert when entering the construction zone and watch for workers and
equipment.
The County sincerely appreciates the cooperation and patience of motorists that use
these roadway facilities.
