The El Dorado County Commission on Aging is an
advisory committee to the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors and the El
Dorado County Area Agency on Aging. Six
of the fourteen members are appointed by the Commission on Aging and are

residents
- Promotion of services that enable seniors to remain in their
homes for as long as possible
- Identification and prevention of elder abuse
The Commission strives to attain a balanced
geographic representation. Applicants
are being sought from all areas of the County, including South Lake Tahoe. Preference will be given to those applicants
who are 60 years and older.
