ROAD WORK, CLOSURES ON ELKS CLUB DRIVE AND WAVERLY DRIVE TO BEGIN SEPTEMBER 10
(PLACERVILLE, CA)—El Dorado County's Department of Transportation today announced crews will be performing road work on Elks Club Drive and Waverly Drive in the Tahoe Basin beginning Monday, September 10th, 2018 and continuing through Friday, September 21st, 2018.
Elks Club Drive and Waverly Drive will be closed to traffic for construction. The closures are necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while the County's contractor performs work on Elks Club Drive.
Access for local residents and visitors, as well as emergency personnel and law enforcement will be via detour to Meadowvale Drive, Tam O Shanter Drive, and/or Apple Valley Drive. Appropriate signage will be installed to assist with the detour. Motorists are also advised to allow extra time when traveling through the detour in order to arrive at their destinations on time.
The County sincerely appreciates the cooperation and patience of motorists that use these roadways and we apologize for any inconvenience as a result of this road closure.
