PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS STATE OF SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT IN SOUTH LAKE TAHOE 

(PLACERVILLE, CA) – El Dorado County officials will hold a public meeting detailing the state of snow removal equipment used in South Lake Tahoe.

BACKGROUND:

                        The snow removal equipment used by the County in South Lake Tahoe is aged and in ill-repair, some equipment being more than 40 years old. This leads to continual breakdown, removal of the equipment for repair and subsequent delays in clearing roadways for safe passage by travelers.
