Additionally, Semon most recently served as President of the Child Support Directors Association of California (CSDA). He was the vice president of CSDA during 2017 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2016.

He believes strongly in transformational leadership and growing the capacity of others. Don is a Sacramento native, having graduated from Jesuit High School in Carmichael. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Sacramento. Semon is married to his wife, Celine and they have three daughters, Taylor (23), Samantha (21), and Gabrielle (8).
"I'm looking forward to bringing my experience and passion for leading by example to the extraordinary people of El Dorado County," said Semon. "It's an honor to have the Board's support and I will endeavor to bring the highest level of respect and quality services to those we serve," he added.
