ROAD WORK IN COLD SPRINGS SUBDIVISION BEGINS SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2018

(PLACERVILLE, CA)— El Dorado County Department of Transportation today announced it will begin road work in the Placerville area's Cold Springs subdivision, starting September 14th-October 2nd, 2018. The construction will require lane closures with traffic control for which motorists should expect delays.

The County will be performing a surface treatment on the following roads:

  • Richard Avenue, Marva Lane, Glen Drive.
  • Beals Road
  • Marshall Road from HWY 49 to Black Oak Mine.

The closures are necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while the County's contractor performs work on the various roads.

Motorists are advised to slow down through the work zone and should expect delays during reversing traffic control. Motorists are also advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone in order to arrive at their destinations on time.

The County sincerely appreciates the cooperation and patience of motorists that use these roadways and we apologize for any inconvenience as a result of these closures.

For questions regarding this construction, please contact the County's Road Maintenance main line at (530) 642-4909
