(PLACERVILLE, CA) – El Dorado County's Department of Transportation, in conjunction with Lennar Winncrest, LLC, will be performing road work on Bass Lake Road between Hollow Oak Drive and Country Club Drive beginning Saturday, September 28th at 6:00 am and continue without pause for approximately48 hours until Sunday, September 29th at 6:00 pm.
Portions of Bass Lake Road between Hollow Oak Drive and City Lights Drive will be subject to reverse traffic control, indicated with flagmen, during this time and motorists should expect delays.
The lane closures are necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while 2-48" culverts are installed across Bass Lake Road. Portable changeable message signs have been posted for two weeks and will remain throughout the duration of the project.
Motorists are advised to slow down through the work zone and expect delays during construction. Motorists are also advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone in order to arrive at their destinations on time or use alternate routes (Silva Valley Parkway/ Cambridge Road) to avoid the construction area.
