​Assessor Changing South Lake Tahoe Office Hours

(PLACERVILLE, CA) – As a result of reduced in-person visits over the years and more recent staffing challenges, the El Dorado County Assessor's office is closing the South Lake Tahoe office to walk-in traffic on Mondays and Fridays, effective Friday, September 2, 2022.  

This change does not affect the lobby hours at the Placerville office or access to Assessor's staff via telephone for either location. Additionally, the Assessor's website www.edcgov.us/assessor contains property information, maps, forms, information on exemptions and exclusions, and various other property assessment information.

The South Lake Tahoe office is located at 3368 Lake Tahoe Blvd. #103, South Lake Tahoe, CA and will be open to the public Tuesday through Thursday, 8am to 5pm.  The phone number is (530) 573-3422 and the general email address is assessor@edcgov.us.

The Placerville office is located at 360 Fair Lane, Placerville, CA and is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.  The phone number is (530) 621-5719 and the general email address is assessor@edcgov.us.
