You are invited to join El Dorado County 4-H Chili Cook-Off & Round Up on Saturday May 11 at 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Event will be held on the lawn of the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville. Admission is free and open to the public, so bring your family, friends and neighbors! There will be something for everyone!
El Dorado County’s own Cynthia Rene will perform a live concert as well as local folk musician Greg Costa. Expect 4-H Barn Activities, kids activities and craft vendors fair. 4-H animals will be showing in the barns. Demonstrations from Rocketry, Disc Golf & Dog Agility projects will be held on the lawn. Bridges BBQ will have Tri Tip lunches for sale for $8. 4-H will have their dignitary cake auction on the lawn at 1:30 p.m. presented by Jack Sweeney and we will have a silent auction featuring amazing items including 4 tickets of Disneyland and golf clubs valued at $800!
Interested in joining the chili challenge? Space is still available and you need just 2 gallons to compete! Chili will be judged by professional judges and $50 prizes awarded to overall winners as well as recognition for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place entries.
