The El Dorado Water & Power Authority (EDWPA)   is a joint powers authority
between the El Dorado County Water Agency,
El Dorado County, and El Dorado Irrigation District.,
that assists with important projects such as securing water rights
for El Dorado County.  EDWPA was established in 2004 and is operated by
the El Dorado County Water Agency staff.
