Provided by Managed Health Network (MHN), this program provides County employees help with mental health, substance abuse, and other work / life issues. Click here for on-line information. Retiree Health Defined Contribution Program This program helps to cover the cost of health insurance during retirement for eligible employees who qualify based upon length of service with El Dorado County. However, retiree medical coverage is provided per the terms of the appropriate Memorandum of Understanding for represented employees, or the Salary & Benefits Resolution for non-represented employees. New employees are not eligible for county contributions towards retiree medical coverage, but may purchase retiree medical coverage at their own cost. The eligibility cutoff dates for county contributions towards retiree medical varies by bargaining unit. Please contact Risk Management with any questions concerning eligibility.
