PUBLIC MEETING - DTSC Public Meeting to Discuss Draft RAW for the Proposed ORHS Expansion
The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) will hold a public meeting to discuss the draft Removal Action Plan (RAW) prepared for upcoming construction activities associated with a proposed expansion on the Oak Ridge High School (ORHS) site. The ORHS is situated in an area known to contain naturally-occurring asbestos (NOA). The draft RAW, currently undergoing a 30-day public comment period which ends on February 15, 2008, describes how the expansion project will be conducted to prevent or reduce potential risks to public health and the environment.
