RUBICON TRAIL CURRENT CONDITION UPDATES
This weekend is the 64th Annual Jeepers Jamboree. Because of the maintenance efforts of El Dorado County and the hard working, dedicated volunteers, the Jamboree participants will be able to run Little Sluice if they wish. This is a historic route and a first for Jamboree participants since 1973!!!
Remember there are trail restrictions on the trail during this event. Details on the restrictions are as follows:
Portions of the Rubicon Trail from the Wentworth Springs Campground
and Loon Lake at Gerle Creek eastward to the Placer County Line, for the 63rd
– 67th Annual “Jeepers Jamboree” only, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily,
starting on Wednesday, through Saturday,
Sunday and Monday from Buck Island to
the Placer County Line, July 22-July 27, 2015, July 27-August 1, 2016, July
26-July 31, 2017, July 25-July 30, 2018, July 24-July 29, 2019; and for the 37th - 41st
Annual “Jeep Jamboree,” from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, starting Thursday
and Friday from the Wentworth Spring Campround and Loon Lake at Gerle Creek
eastward to the Placer County Line, Saturday and Sunday from Buck Island to the
Placer County Line . Starting on July
30-August 3, 2015, August 4-August 8, 2016, August 3-August 7, 2017, August
2-August 6, 2018, August 1-August 5, 2019.
