El Dorado Hills to Bass Lake Grade Project
Funding
The construction phase of the US 50 HOV Lanes, Phase 1- El Dorado Hills to Bass Lake Grade Project is estimated at $42,608,000. The project is funded through Proposition 1B state bond funds of $20,000,000 from the Corridor Mobility Improvement Account (CMIA); Federal Grant funds of $1,700,000 from the congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) Program; Federal Grant funds of $2,994,483 from the RSTP (Regional Surface Transportation Program); and $14,613,517 from
2004 County General Plan Highway 50 Traffic Impact Mitigation (TIM) and
Interim Highway 50 Variable County TIM Fee Programs (developer fees).
There is no net County cost from the General Fund associated with the US 50 HOV Lanes,
Phase 1- El Dorado Hills to Bass Lake Grade Project.
