Procurement & Contracts is a Division of the Chief Administrative Office and is responsible for the procurement of services, supplies, materials, goods, furnishings, equipment and other personal property for the County.
The Procurement & Contracts Division is headed by the Purchasing Agent who is responsible for developing procurement policy in compliance with law, resolutions and directives of the Board of Supervisors.

As a public agency, the Procurement & Contracts Division of the County of El Dorado strictly adheres to Government Code, local ordinances, rules, regulations, and ethical practices when acquiring goods and services for the benefit of the citizens of El Dorado County. The County of El Dorado Procurement and Contracts employees do not accept personal gifts from suppliers nor conduct purchasing transactions for personal benefit. It is a goal of the County of El Dorado to obtain maximum value for each dollar spent.
